Denise Burbidge is an Accredited Practising Dietitian qualified with, Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics (Monash University) and a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education (Deakin University). Denise has been working as a Dietitian across private practice, community and aged care since 2008. Denise has particular interests in supporting clients in the following areas:
Diabetes (including Type 1, Type 2, Gestational Diabetes and insulin pumps)
Weight management
Metabolic Syndrome
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Pre Diabetes & Impaired Glucose Tolerance
Cardiovascular disease
Gastrointestinal Nutrition (including IBS and coeliac disease)
Gerontology Nutrition (including swallowing difficulties, dementia ,frailty and stroke recovery)
Denise is currently on maternity leave so not taking new patients at this time.
About Nicole
Nicole Rodda is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of Dietitian’s Australia. Nicole has completed a Bachelor degree in Food and Nutrition Sciences with a Major in Food Science and a Master of Dietetics from Deakin University. Since completing her primary qualifications, Nicole has also completed the Monash University Low FODMAP Diet course.
Nicole strongly believes in establishing a positive relationship with food and understand first-hand how complicated that relationship can be. Nicole is at risk of anaphylaxis to several foods so understands how a restricted diet can affect many aspects of your life. Nicole has great empathy for clients requiring specific diets and can provide relevant support and recommendations for different conditions .
Nicole accepts referrals to support clients with a wide variety of conditions and has a particular interest in Food Allergies and Intolerances, Gastrointestinal Disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Constipation, Coeliac Disease and Diverticular Disease, as well as healthy eating and weight management.
